Fresh meals, friendly visits, and peace of mind—delivered right to your door.
Why Choose Montco SAAC Meals on Wheels:
At Montco SAAC, Meals on Wheels is more than just food, it’s a lifeline of nutrition, safety, and connection for older adults across Montgomery County.
Here’s what makes us different:
🌱 Fresh, Locally Prepared Meals
Through our partnership with Kremmer’s Community Kitchen, we provide meals that are prepared right here in our community. That means fresher ingredients, seasonal variety, and the ability to offer meals that taste like home and not something shipped across the country.
Variety and Customization
Every person has different tastes and health needs. Our menus are designed with flexibility in mind, including options for diabetes-friendly, heart-healthy, renal, pureed, and other specialized diets. We work with you to tailor meals that support both nutrition and enjoyment.
Reliable, Regular Delivery
Unlike national programs that drop off two weeks’ worth of meals at once, Montco SAAC delivers on a consistent schedule you can count on. Meals arrive ready to enjoy, without the burden of storing heavy boxes or keeping 14 days of food in your refrigerator.
Friendly Faces Who Know You
Our volunteers aren’t just drivers, they’re neighbors. They know your street, your routines, and most importantly, they know you. With every delivery comes a wellness check and a friendly hello, providing peace of mind for families and a vital connection for seniors living alone.
Rooted in Community
Montco SAAC has been serving Montgomery County seniors for decades. Choosing Meals on Wheels here means you’re part of a trusted local program that reinvests in your community and not a distant call center or national chain.
To qualify for Meals on Wheels, individuals must be 60 or older and be essentially home bound.
